All packed up for the kayak trip!
So I have been up being the Minocqua , Wisconsin for the past week. The weather is been very rainy and continues to be so.
Chris is on his way up to the cottage and will spend the evening here. Tomorrow morning we leave at seven to catch our shuttle that will take us to where we put in for a kayaking trip.
A look at the weather confirms that we will have a wet three days of camping and kayaking.
Here are my supplies all packed up and waiting to get loaded into the car for the final trip to the shuttle.
We will put in at 9 mile landing on the Flambeau River and ride that to Flambeau Adventures, LLC about 50 miles downstream.
Tomorrow we plan to go about 15 miles, Tuesday we will go about 20 miles, and Wednesday we will finish with two class 2/3 rapids before pulling out and returning home.
I will race home and pick up my niece Shannon for a Six Flags adventure on Thursday. Friday and Saturday we pack and Sunday we head up to the cottage for our final two weeks in United States.
