2012 will be a year of travel for us.

San Antonio, Texas: I hear the River Walk is something to see there as well as The Rodeo. We will visit our friend Beth while we are there. I should have plenty of pictures of the River walk, The Rodeo and the missions. Only the best pictures will be posted here.
Las Vegas, Nevada: Luckily I have a Solution Tree conference to attend and we are wrapping a couple of days of gambling in with it. Who knows if I will have any pictures?
Spain: We are going to Spain this summer. Our main sleep overs are:

Madrid
Douro Valley, Pinao, Portugal
Lugo in the Galicia region
Abalos in the Rioja Region
Barcelona

Many pictures will be taken and I hope to blog on all trips as I go.

The Christmas tree is officially up and ready for the holidays.

Denali was out!!

The webcam idea is not going to work but I will post some photos of Denali when I get back home near a computer. I was inquiring about a flight seeing tour and while I was doing that I saw what I thought was mount forager. I drove quickly to where I had breakfast earlier and asked where the best place to see the mountain was. I went there and spend about an hour taking pictures. I have plenty. How perfect !!

So I rolled into the Denali cabins at 5:30ish... About an hour and a half later than I thought. The weather is about 10 degrees and actually doesn't feel as cold as it would in Wisconsin because of the dryness of the climate in Alaska. I called my buddy and will be joining the wedding party in about an hour. I am going to take a walk around the town and see what I can see.

On my way to AK!

My very good friend Pete is getting married this weekend on 11/11/11 at 1:11 AK time. I will blog my trip to visit him as I go and post pictures after as I don't have a way to transfer them yet. The blog is being kept primarily to communicate with my school about my trip to Talkeetna, Alaska. I am hoping to find a web cam somewhere in Talkeetna to stand in front of and wave to the classes on Friday around 2:00 pm. I will send the website to some teachers and also post it on this blog....

Right now I am sitting on the plane waiting for a little food and bev service. I should arrive Anchorage around 4:00 Milwaukee time. I will blog again when I get to my Talkeetna cabin...I think I have wifi there.... Ohhhh the food was just wheeled by it smells just like the food in the lunch room. Mmmmm....mmmmmm......good.......
